IDENTICAL BILLS IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE

IMPERATIVE TO ACT QUICKLY

The Florida Legislature is currently considering legislation that would allow cities and counties in Florida to place restrictions on the type of dogs one can own.

Singling out certain Dog Breeds.

The true problem lies with the misdeeds of the owner/handler of the dog.

We already have in place strong legislation to protect the community from truly dangerous dogs not just any particular breed of dog.
