Dear fellow animal lovers and supporters,

It’s amazing the impact animals can have on all of our lives. It’s our pets that many people heal with, love with, cry because of, giggle at and sing along with. It’s them that brightens our day, gives us hope in times of despair and gives us the courage to continue to fight. It’s for all of these reasons that a small non-profit organization named Rehabilitation Exclusively for Strays To Obtain Residency Effectively Inc. (R.E.S.T.O.R.E.) has dedicated itself to bring its mission to the forefront of animal shelters and the animal welfare community with a full-time focus on ending the euthanasia of companion animals in government county shelters, enriching their lives beyond measure and placing them in the loving homes they’re all in need of.

R.E.S.T.O.R.E. is a newly formed organization founded in 2007 by Rolando G. Pumariega, President and Founder. R.E.S.T.O.R.E. is a non-profit, (501c3) tax-exempt animal welfare organization that brings pets to the people in a variety ways. Guided by its mission to restore and save unadoptable companion animals from euthanasia and to enhance the quality of health-care for all sheltered animals both physically and psychologically, R.E.S.T.O.R.E. has established a variety of programs that will serve community members of every age in the near future.

All efforts will be towards rescuing homeless pets from Miami Dade Animal Services which otherwise would’ve been put to death, if not adopted, to accommodate space for new arriving animals. Miami-Dade Animal Services receives over 34,000 pets a year, and are forced to euthanize thousands of beautiful pets every year simply because they can’t find homes. Its organization’s like us and people like you they all depend on.

To be successful in all our goals seems intimidating, but I am certain, however, that all our programs will be implemented successfully and well. With your help and generous donations, in due time, these dreams will be made possible and our homeless and sheltered pets will receive the love and opportunity they all deserve.

This would’ve never been accomplished alone. I want to extend my gratitude to the companion pets that have changed my life, and the fellow animal lovers nation-wide who truly realize that a furry, four-legged friend can make all the difference.
