Participate in Humane Society of Cenral Illinois's 1st Annual "Paws Open" Golf Outing! The event will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at The Links at Ireland Grove in Bloomington, Illinois. This family and friends oriented event will begin with check-in at 1:00 pm, 1:30 putting contest for all ages, and a 2:00 pm shotgun start for play on the course. It's Cats in Space! Come out to this wild, Cats in Space themed premiere Hair Ball presented by Tree House Humane Society, a no-kill, cageless cat shelter dedicated to rehabilitation of sick, injured, abused and neglected stray cats. This hair fashion show will feature models from various local salons and will strut their stuff on the catwalk set to the tunes of DJ Demchuk (WZRD, MODERN LOVE). The evening will be emceed by Miss Foozie. For $35 you receive entrance into the show, a drink on the house and a chance to win one of many door prizes. Silent auction items (including a bike courtesy of Uptown Bikes!) will be available for bid that evening.
Come out to SPIN on W. Belmont on Saturday Oct. 18, 2008 from 7 pm - 10 pm and have a hair-raising time while supporting some local cool cats.
