The Humane Society of Broward County would like to invite you to their 3rd Annual Adopt-A-Thon June 6-8.  Join Big 105.9 radio hosts Jen Wylde, Seabass, Toast and Jay Zeager at the HSBC shelter and big home a new furry family member!  Activities such as a bounce house for kids, BBQ and face painting will be offered.

If you're a cat lover in the South Florida area save the date for July 19, 2008.  The Platinnum Coast Cat Fanciers are presenting their cat show at the Fort Myers Harborside Convention Hall from 9 am - 4 pm.  There will be vendors selling a multitude of products for your feline friends as well as cat breeders and unique cats.  Watch these cats compete for the blue ribbon in various categories.  The Animal Rescue Center of Fort Myers will be on hand with adoptions along with other area rescue groups and shelters.  A $5 donation would be much appreciated at the door.

Join the Dumb Friends League in Denver, Colorado at both their shelters for a Feline Fiesta. Come out to learn cat care and behavior tips, shop feline friendly vendors, and see their adoptable cats and kittens. There will also be games for kids and prizes. The goal of Dumb Friends is to adopt 100 cats in one day. All cat adopters will receive a free t-shirt.
