On September 6th and 7th (10 am – 5 pm), bring friends, the kids AND the dog to the largest celebration of pets in the Bay Area! Meet adoptable animals from dozens of regional adoption and rescue organizations (including MHS). This two-day event will feature performance demos, expert talks, contests, a kids pavilion, and more than 100 vendor booths with products and services for your companion animals. On Saturday, October 18, 2008, people and paws will hit the trail for the 18th Annual Pet Walk benefitting the homeless, abused, and unwanted animals at the SPCA. In addition to the one-mile walk along beautiful North Shore Park, the event will feature an adoptable pet parade, a pet howl-o-ween costume contest, fly ball & frisbee demos, K-9 obedience & agility demos, shopping, music, and a food court with eats & treats for pets and their people.

All proceeds will help SPCA Tampa Bay continue to increase adoptions, investigate suspected animal cruelty cases, provide emergency care for sick and injured strays, educate the public on human pet care, and so much more.

United States, Green Bay , Wisconsin, 333 Main Street (KI Convention Center/Hotel Sierra)

Come out to Brewfest 2008 and help some Bay Area Humane Society critters in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  This is not your normal fundraising event!  A $30 donation will allow you to enjoy some gourmet wine, beer, pop and food samples as well as some musical entertainment by Squeeze This and Emcees Bear & Charli from Y100.  There will also be a silent auction and raffle
