Feed an Animal for a Day!

The Groupon fundraising campaign is here so let's work together to raise some funds for all the wonderful homeless animals at DCHS. The campaign began on Tuesday, October 25 at 12:01 a.m. and runs through Thursday, October 27 midnight.

Utilizing G-Team's collective action model, Groupon followers can pledge support for the "Give Shelter" campaign in increments of $10, with each $10 providing a day of food and shelter for a homeless animal at DCHS. DCHS needs 40 people to pledge for the "Give Shelter" campaign "tipping point" to be reached and for any of the donations to be processed. If DCHS receives $3,000, that is food and shelter for 300 animals for one day at DCHS! (Approximately 7,000 animals pass through our doors each year including companion animals, exotic species, farm animals, small mammals and orphaned and injured wildlife. )

How you can support the campaign:
1) Pledge your support, in increments of $10, for the "Give Shelter" campaign.
2) Spread the word about this campaign to your friends and family!

Groupon, www.groupon.com, is a website where people sign up to receive e-mails about discounts offered by local businesses.
